Multifocal Atrial Tachycardia

Multifocal Atrial Tachycardia (MAT) is an abbherrent heart rhythm occasionally seen in the elderly, those with COPD exacerbation, and hypokalemia.  As with most (if not ALL!) arrhythmias, it can also be seen in patients experiencing acute myocardial infarct.
